GW Engineering School

The Computational Biology Institute (CBI) brings together leading faculty in biology, medicine and computing to harness huge volumes of data and leverage unique relationships in the nation’s capital in service of research that improves our health and environment.

The Digital Humanities Institute (DHI), founded upon the core belief that the arts and humanities actively transform and are transformed by digital cultures, supports collaborative endeavors in scholarship and multimodal venues of teaching and learning through grants, workshops, symposia and exhibitions.

The Digital Trade and Data Governance Hub provides resources, training, events and evidence-based research to help stakeholders understand data governance, digital trade, and emerging data-driven technologies such as AI and XR.

The Open Source Program Office (OSPO) fosters a culture of networked collaboration and promotes open-source software development, open data and open access in research and education throughout the university community.
